What will we do without Maureen in our lives? I was just looking at the last email I sent her before her illness & her reply. So pleased I had a chance to tell her how much she means to us all.
It reads:
"It was really nice to talk to you on Monday, Maureen. I'm always saying to
Steve, Natalie & Stephen that you're the nearest thing to an angel here on
earth, & we're so lucky that you're part of our family".
She replied:
"Thank you for your kind remarks about me.
I always think how lucky I have been to have such a wonderful sister-in-law
and a niece and nephew with such wonderful personalities. Not to forget my
fantastic brother who has gone through so much over the last year or so. lol
Maureen xxx"
So often you regret things you didn't say, but I'll treasure those words forever.
You'll always be with us in spirit, Maureen, and when we've got a problem, we won't forget all your words of wisdom. With much love always, Margaret XXX
